Is it normal to have thick white/clear discharge right after sex?
Q. right after me and my fiance' had sex, i noticed when i went to use the bathroom this thick almost snot like white/clear discharge came out. it didn't hurt nor did it have a smell to it. we are trying to have a baby so we didn't use any protection. also my period is suppose to come today. is this normal discharge?

Q. I keep having to clear my throat, like there's something stuck in it. I was about to talk when I felt something choking me, building up in my throat when I coughed up this white thick liquid. It's kinda like snot but white/clear and coming out of my throat.

34 weeks and think mucous plug is coming out, im worried about preterm labour

Is this my mucus plug or just regular discharge?
Q. I'm 35 weeks and 2 days. Today before i got in the shower i noticed I had something on my underwear. It looked like clear snot with white stuff on it, it was a lot of it. I didn't have any blood not even pink stuff. Can this be the begin of the mucus plug or was it just regular discharge? This is my first pregnancy as well so I pretty new to this. Thanks in advance. I had a huge increase in discharge at that time in my pregnancy and my dr said it was probably just normal discharge or parts of my mucous plug. well 2 make a long story short I lost mine the 2 nights before I had Mia and it looked nothing like what I was having when I was around 35 weeks. In my exp the mucous plug was just gross looking. I know it was the plug because I was in the hospital and I was screaming bloody murder I didn't know what it was! lol!!! What is this slimy, milky white, almost "snot-like" stuff on my bog wood?
Q. I recently purchased a huge peice of bog wood to put inside my 125 gl. Oscar tank. It's been in there for 3 days and just now I noticed this weird white slime all over it. Prior to inserting the wood into the tank, I soaked it in the bath tub in plain hot water; no soaps nor chemicals. I changed the water several times until it was clear and the wood was free of dust and other debris so I don't know what could be causing this. Above all, is it harmful and how do I remedy this situation? Thanks

If you had the wood in there for a longer period of time then this it what it would be 2. This is what it IS: Latent bacteria leeching from the inside of the wood OUT into your aquarium. Mostly everyone goes through this when they add wood to their aquarium. Soaking the wood for a few weeks/MONTHS first in the bathtub would have been ideal. 9 month old baby sneezes a TON!?
Q. Our daughter is 9 months old. Lately she's been sneezing a ton - sometimes 5-10 times in a row, multiple times a day... nothing new being used on her or in the house, and it happens inside, outside, everywhere and anywhere. No cough, but there is some clear/slightly off white snot that tends to come out with it. Dr said it's rare for babies this young to have allergies, but not impossible... said it doesn't sound like a cold (no cough, fever, etc)... what do you think? Does anyone else have a sneezy baby? Q. i know periods have discharge. also when a woman squirts. but what about a daily discharge that looks like snot in your nose. like its clear with a little white, its doesn't smell and its not green or yellow. is this normal a clear like snot discharge that is daily? i am not having sex- i haven't ever had sex. i also don't have an std. i dont have an itch. its just normal discharge.

Q. I have a white clear discharge that is like snot and I have been cramping the past couple days and i just noticed it tonight. I had a baby in December 2008 by c-section and than i was put on the depo shot and I stopped taking it about a month ago. I haven't had a period yet all i did was spot for like a day and that's its and i was due for my next depo shot in December 17th but never got it cause i stopped taking it.

A. you say white, but also clear! The cramps also could be that your periods are returning to a more regular pattern, but this can take a few months. Any unusual discharge is worth testing, especially if it has an odour. Did you stop the depo shot because you are trying for another baby? Do a pregnancy test. You never get a false positive!! Then go and see your doctor, for reassurance, or your local walk-in well woman clinic. I'm sure it will be of value to you to get checked out, and it will get you the peace of mind you need.

Did I lose my mucus plug?
Q. I have been losing these long snot looking discharges for weeks. Every now and then when I would pee, I would have to use a few wipes to get all of it. But recently after having sex with my husband there was this glob of thick snot looking stuff on him. We were both kinda freaked out...but I assume it was my plug. ( could it have been that? there was no blood or color to it, just clear/white looking ) I am now 35 weeks and that happended almost exactly a week ago. I have been contracting a bit, a lot of movement, but I am worried if it was my pulg that I may need to call my doctor cause my next appointment is still a little over a week away. Could I have lost my plug durring sex? That other stuff before then been the plug too?

omg..i think i just lost part of my mucus plug!!! im only 34 weeks!?
Q. ok so im 34 weeks preggo and lately in my discharge ive been seeing what seems to be little peices of my mucus plug.. [srry tmi] like tiny little clear, whitish very very light yellow booger looking things. just now i felt really wet like i had alot of discharge as usual and went to wipe and there was this big chunk of clear very light yellow and white snot type stuff. maybe about as big as a peanut. theres no blood in it though. if im loosing part of my plug now does this mean labor is coming soon??

A. yup, thats ur mucus plug for sure... i lost mine at 36 weeks, but didnt deliver til 41+4 - so no, that doesnt necessarily mean ur gonna deliver soon... u may do, but u may also be fine for a few more weeks! most of the time, after u have lost ur mucus plug, it can take like 2 weeks for labour to start off!

I keep smelling odd smells of things that aren't around, and other things, please have a read and help! :)?
