Commonwealth Eminent Persons Group Information
Several Eminent Persons Groups, abbreviated to EPG, have been founded by Commonwealth of Nations.
An EPG was established at the 1985 CHOGM to investigate apartheid in South Africa, and reported ahead of the special 1986 CHOGM: recommending economic sanctions against South Africa.
The latest was founded by the 2009 CHOGM at Trinidad and Tobago in November 2009 to report at the 2011 CHOGM. The members of this EPG were:

- Samuel Kavuma (Uganda, Commonwealth Youth Caucus)
- Michael Kirby (Australia)

- Sir Malcolm Rifkind (UK)
- Sir Ronald Sanders (Guyana)
- Hugh Segal (Canada)
- Sir Ieremia Tabai (Kiribati)
