The mucus plug can reform and i think being 24weeks if yours was to come away it would reform.. so i wouldnt worry. But alot of people discribe it as snotty and stringy. If you want to see some examples type it in on google ...

my nurse told me the other day that she didn't lose a mucus plug with either of her sons! she said that sometimes the plug just kind of "absorbs" back in and doesn't necessarily come out.

I don't know about the blood spots but I have lots of excess discharge, the hospital even treated me for thrush while they sent off specimens for tests... The results came back fine and I'm just one of the ones that ends up ... It is normal, I would think you may be losing your mucous plug ... And you are coming close to the end anyways. Status: Online ... I had it and got told it could be my plug the yellow snotty stuff, nice! Doesnt necessarily mean labour is imminent either!

When you lose your mucus plug i imagine its really gross like brown and spotty and snotty and just really gross... is that the way it is? or is it just like a think discharge? like clear but kinda thick? because im almost 38 weeks ...

I had light cramping afterward but nothing out of the ordinary... went away after about 10-15 mins... well that was at about 10am just about an hour ago i was in walmart and had to pee really bad so i went to the bathroom and ... Like i was saying on another thread today, mine was only ever clear/ snotty /stringy mucus . ... with my first pregnancy i was losing pieces of my mucus plug for over a week and non of them had blood in it so it sounds like its ur mucus plug to me.
